👋🏽 I'm Nyeshia, the Owner of Melanin Beauty Express!

I'm just a mom who moved outside of the city to secure a safer, more quiet area to raise my daughters in. Once we arrived here, I soon learned that despite the number of African American families that have moved to the Central Valley in the past 10+ years, there is little to no presence of African American hair care in the area. 

We moved to the Central Valley during the pandemic which presented yet another problem. When I ran out of braiding hair while braiding my daughter's hair, I thought, I wish I could Door Dash hair! During the pandemic, most of America became pretty reliant on delivery services for groceries, food, and other items. If you know like I know, Hair Products are ESSENTIAL!💇🏽‍♀️ From this thought, Melanin Beauty Express was born🖤

Like most individuals, I work a full time job and juggle appointments, kids activities, and other errands. Having the convenience of ordering products AND brands that I know and love is the ultimate convenience for those of us with busy lives.
